Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver for System Transport with a regional/OTR focus. Drive flatbed equipment across regional routes (Division 290, Kansas City, MO) and support hauling of glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with matching, transition/orientation pay, PTO, and other pay types (tarpaulin, detention, border-crossing, and other accessorial pay). Home time typically off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Applicants must hold a valid CDL-A, be 21+, have at least 4 months of driving experience, maintain a safe driving record, pass a background check, a drug test, and Clearinghouse requirements. Additional physical requirement: ability to tarp loads (~90 lb tarps) during orientation. Training and equal-opportunity employment provided; riders policy allows after 90 days for approved drivers. Must be able to cope with varied route lengths and pay scales; annual earnings range from approximately $47,424 to $102,994 depending on experience and route. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL

- 4+ months of driving experience

- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping ~70% of loads)
