Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for regional routes. Responsibilities include operating flatbed equipment to transport heavy materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals, with a focus on tarping loads, safety, and timely delivery. Competitive pay with weekly and annual compensation, plus accessorial pay (detention, tarp, border crossing, and other bonuses) and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, sick time). The role includes orientation and transition pay, home time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset, and consideration for experienced CDL-A drivers and recent graduates. Emphasis on safety, compliance (background, drug, clearinghouse), and meeting weight/loading requirements for tarping duties.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (driving orientation tests tarp)
