Job Summary
Operate flatbed trucks on regional routes primarily in the western region, delivering items such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Drive CDL-A flatbed equipment, manage loading/unloading with tarps (up to 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform), and comply with safety and regulatory requirements. Receive a pay package with weekly pay, annual earnings potential, and accessorial pay (detention, tarp, stop, safety bonuses), plus a transition/orientation pay program. Home time includes weekends off with a 34-hour reset; orientation and onboarding are provided. Eligible applicants include recent CDL-A graduates and experienced drivers; the role is full-time with regional routes and varying earnings based on experience and length of service. Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tests during orientation)
- Flatbed tarp experience on loads (70% of loads)
- Orientation pay and transition pay
- Ability to work on flatbed equipment
