Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional driver role with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment on regional routes, hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Compensation includes weekly pay, annual pay ranges, and various accessorial pays plus transition/orientation pay. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; multiple pay enhancements (tarp, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, and more). Must have a valid CDL-A, be 21+, and meet driving-history requirements. Orientation and transition programs support onboarding. 100% on-road driving-focused role with emphasis on load securement and safe operation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Drug Test required
- Clearinghouse report required
- Able to lift 90 pounds tarp onto a 5-foot high platform (tested during orientation)
- Flatbed tarping responsibilities on ~70% of loads
