Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional driver needed to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay and benefits with transition and orientation pay. Home time most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Tarp handling (90-lb tarps) required; flatbed-specific pay (per mile) and accessorial pay (detention, tarp, stop, border crossing). Orientation pays during onboarding. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
