Job Summary
Flatbed CDL Driver on a regional/OTR route for System Transport. Responsibilities include transporting goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Competes on pay packages with weekly and annual earnings, transition/orientation pay, and various accessorial pays (tarps, detention, border crossing, mileage). Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; division 290; terminal in Kansas City, MO. Qualifications include a valid CDL-A, 21+ years old, 4+ months driving experience, safe driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse clearance, and ability to tarp loads. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarping responsibility)
