Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Role involves transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay figures, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border-crossing, safety, and other pays). Transition/orientation pay included. Home time mainly on weekends with a 34-hour reset, equipment maintained for safety, and comprehensive benefits after eligibility period (health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.). Must meet driving qualifications, pass a background check and drug test, and be able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform twice. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
- Must be able to tarp loads (approximately 70% of loads)
