Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver sought for regional routes on System Transport’s Western-region fleet. Operate flatbed equipment, secure loads with tarps, and manage shipments including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual pay ranges, plus accessorial pays (tarps, stop, detention, border-crossing, safety bonuses) and mileage pay. Home time primarily on weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay included. Benefits available after eligibility waiting period (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with match, life insurance, EAP). Required: valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving, clean DAC and driving record, background check, drug test, Clearinghouse check, ability to tarp loads during orientation. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
