Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A Driver for regional routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment on regional/OdR schedules in the western region; tarps, load securement, and safe, compliant operation to move glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive weekly and annual pay, bonus and accessorial pay, and comprehensive benefits; orientation and transition pay provided. Home time mostly on weekends with 34-hour resets; equipment includes flatbed tractors with modern safety features. Must meet CDL-A, age 21+, and driving-history requirements; must pass background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse. Must be able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation (flatbed tarp)
