Job Summary
Regional CDL-A flatbed driver hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Home time mostly weekends with a 34-hour reset; competitive pay with per-mile and accessorial pay; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k) and matching, life insurance, PTO after years of service, and transition/orientation pay. Must have CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months experience, safe driving record, background/drug/Clearinghouse checks, ability to tarp loads (90 lb tarp), and pass orientation. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
