Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes out of Division 290 (Fort Mitchell, KY). Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on flatbed equipment. Competitive pay with weekly pay and a broad benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, life insurance, PTO accrual, and transition/orientation pay. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; various pay components include mileage pay and accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) with opportunities for additional earnings based on experience and length of service. Training/qualification requirements include a valid Class A CDL, minimum age 21, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, and successful completion of background and drug tests, plus tarp-lifting capability during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads
