Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment, transporting materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay packages with weekly and annual pay, comprehensive benefits, and a transition/orientation pay package. Home time off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Must have 4+ months of driving experience, a safe driving record, and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks. Ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice is required during orientation. Equipment includes tarps and various pay enhancements (tarp pay, stop pay, detention pay, border crossing pay, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay). The role is full-time, based out of the Kansas City terminal with regional routes, and emphasizes safety and dependability.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
