Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver position for regional routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in the western US. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay, plus accessorial pays (tarps, detention, stop, border crossing, safety bonuses) and transition/orientation pay. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; equipment includes modern flatbed tractors and safety features. Requires 21+, valid CDL-A, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving/background/ Clearinghouse, ability to tarp loads (90 pounds) during orientation. Prefer 1 year of experience but not required; equal opportunity employer; benefits after waiting period.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
- 4+ months of driving experience required
