Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional routes with System Transport. Drives flatbed equipment on regional/OCR routes hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay: weekly pay and annual pay ranges, plus accessorial pay (tarps, stops, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses) and mileage-based rates. Home time: off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; Division 290; Terminal: Kansas City, MO. Hiring qualifications require a valid Class A CDL, 21+ years old, 4+ months experience, clean driving record, limited job changes (last 3 years), background check, drug test, Clearinghouse compliance, and ability to tarp loads up to 90 pounds during orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarp about 70% of loads); tested during orientation
