Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional driver needed to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes. Equipment type: flatbed with tarping responsibilities; compensation includes weekly and annual pay scales plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, safety, and other pay) and a transition/orientation package. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) with matching, life insurance, PTO accrual, and more. Experience requirements include valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience (preferred 1 year), clean driving record, background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse result; physically able to tarp loads, with tarping required for about 70% of loads.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to tarp loads (90-pound tarp)
- Ability to lift tarp onto 5-foot high platform twice
