Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional driver responsible for hauling glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes. Performs tarping and securement tasks, adheres to safety and regulatory requirements, and participates in a compensation package that includes weekly pay, transition/orientation pay, various accessorial pays, and comprehensive benefits. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; equipment is flatbed and routes are regional with a Kansas City, MO terminal. Requires CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean background, and a compliant Clearinghouse and drug test; tarping duties are part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
