Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Regional/OTR opportunity with weekend time off for a 34-hour reset. Competitive weekly and annual pay with diverse accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, tarp-related duties) and a $1,800 transition/orientation package. Home time is primarily weekends; multiple pay multipliers and benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), EAP, PTO accrual) offered. Must meet hiring qualifications and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks; physically capable of tarp handling; 21+ with CDL-A and 4+ months driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Age 21 or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background check required
- Clean drug test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (demonstrated during orientation)
- Ability to tarp about 70% of loads
