Job Summary
Experienced CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes in the western US. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals. Flatbed equipment, tarp handling, tarp pay; competitive pay and benefits; home time weekends; transition package; orientation pay and ramp-up support; safety-focused operations. Eligible applicants include recent CDL-A graduates and experienced drivers; pay scales include weekly pay and annual pay ranges, with additional accessorial pay depending on routes and length of service.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads.
