Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes out of Division 290 (Kansas City, MO). Operate flatbed equipment to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay, plus accessorial pay (tarps, detention, border crossing, tarp-related duties), and a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation and transition pay provided. Must meet driving qualifications and be able to tarp loads (approximately 70% of loads tarped) and pass background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
