Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for a US regional route with System Transport. Role involves transporting building materials, glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbeds. Full-time position with competitive weekly and annual pay, transition/orientation pay, and a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), PTO). Home time is typically off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; division 290 based in Grove City, OH with various route options. Requires valid CDL-A, 21+, 4+ months of driving experience, clean background and drug test, and ability to tarp 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads
