Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver for regional routes hauling materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive pay with weekly pay and annual pay up to six figures, plus accessorial pay (tarp, detention, border crossing, etc.). Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset. Orientation and transition pay provided. Equipment is flatbed with tarping required; must be able to tarp loads during orientation and on regular routes. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more. Location-specific terminals include Kansas City, MO and Bensenville, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
