Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes in the western US. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Home time off most weekends with a 34-hour reset. Transition package and orientation pay. Requires 21+, valid CDL-A, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, drug test, and a clean Clearinghouse. Flatbed-specific skills include tarping loads (approximately 70% of trips) and lifting tarps up to 90 pounds during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Prefer 1-year truck driving experience, but not necessary
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation)
- Flatbed tarp on ~70% of loads
