Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver needed for regional routes with System Transport. Drive flatbed equipment, hauling items such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region. Roles include full-time employment with weekly and annual pay packages, transition/orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits. Must meet CDL-A, age, experience, and safety requirements, and be able to tarp loads (90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform) during orientation. Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. The role emphasizes pay per mile, accessorial pay, and strong safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background check
- Clean drug test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Must be physically able to tarp 90-pound tarp onto 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
