Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver role on regional routes with System Transport. Responsibilities include operating flatbed tractors to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals across the western region and OTR as assigned. Competitive pay packages include weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border-crossing, safety, and other premiums), plus a transition/orientation pay and a robust benefits package (health, dental, vision, HSAs, 401(k) with match, life insurance, PTO). Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset. Requirements: valid Class A CDL, age 21+, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record and Clearinghouse, background check, and ability to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot platform during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation; tarp on ~70% of loads)
