Job Summary
CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver for a Regional Route. Transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals using flatbed equipment. Flatbed experience preferred; tarps and load securement required (must lift 90 lbs onto a 5-foot platform). Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay and benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and transition/orientation pay. Home time typically off most weekends for a 34-hour reset; various pay components depend on experience, routes, and tenure. System Transport emphasizes safety and offers a range of driver-centric programs and support, including mileage pay, detainment pay, safety bonuses, and an orientation/transition package. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)
