Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed truck driver on a regional route for System Transport. You will haul flatbed loads including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Equipment type is flatbed with a regional/OTR focus. The role includes a transition package with orientation pay, a range of accessorial pays (tarps, stop, detention, border crossing, etc.), and home time with weekends off for a 34-hour reset. The position requires meeting safety and background/drug checks, and adherence to company safety standards; candidates must possess a valid CDL-A, be at least 21, and have 4+ months of driving experience. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to tarp (90 pounds) onto a 5-foot high platform twice during orientation
- Ability to tarp about 70% of loads
