Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver for a regional route with System Transport. Transporting goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals in flatbed configurations. Competitive pay with weekly and annual pay data, plus accessorial pays (tarps, detention, load, border-cross, surge-type pays) and a transition/orientation pay package. Home time generally off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; equipment includes modern flatbed tractors with safety tech. Requirements include valid CDL-A, minimum 21, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record and background/drug checks, and ability to tarp loads (90 pounds) during orientation. Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (to be tested during orientation)
- Flatbed driving experience preferred
