Job Summary
Flatbed CDL Driver on a regional route with System Transport. Responsibilities include operating flatbed equipment to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional/OTR routes. Competitive pay packages with weekly/annual pay, plus accessorial pay (tarp, stop, detention, border-cross, safety) and per-mile compensation ($0.57-$0.71/mi). Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; division 290 based in Kansas City, MO. Benefits eligibility after waiting period (health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k) and matching, life insurance, EAP, PTO). Transition and orientation pay provided; relocation not offered. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarps on ~70% of loads)
