Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed regional driver responsible for transporting glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils and specialty metals on regional routes. Competitive pay with weekly and annual earnings potential, comprehensive benefits, and a transition/orientation pay package. Requires a valid CDL-A, 4+ months driving experience, a safe driving record, ability to tarp loads (up to 90 pounds, twice onto a 5-foot platform), and passing background, drug, and Clearinghouse checks. Home time includes weekends off for a 34-hour reset; equipment is flatbed and routes are regional with a focus on safety and pay incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarpping on 70% of loads)
