Job Summary
Drive flatbed trucks on regional routes transporting glass, steel, aluminum, machinery, and specialty metals. Perform load securement duties, including lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice for approximately 70% of loads. Maintain a safe driving record with no more than six jobs in the last three years while adhering to strict background and drug testing requirements. Operate modern trucks equipped with lane departure warning, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication. Work a schedule with a 34-hour reset off most weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
