Job Summary
CDL-A flatbed driver needed for System Transport to operate regional routes in the western US. Drive flatbed equipment transporting items such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Full-time position with competitive pay and benefits, home time on weekends (34-hour reset), orientation and transition pay, and accessorial pay. Hiring highlights include requirement for valid CDL-A, 21+ years old, 4+ months of experience, clean driving/clearinghouse/drug tests, and ability to lift 90 pounds onto a 5-foot platform during orientation. Locations include Bloomington, IN and Kansas City, MO with on-site work duties. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience required
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
- System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads
