Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional routes with System Transport. Requires valid Class A CDL, 21+, 4+ months experience, and a clean driving history. Drives flatbed equipment on regional/OTR routes delivering materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Competitive weekly and annual pay with accessorial pay (tarps, detention, stop, border crossing, safety bonuses, and more), transition and orientation pay, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, life insurance, EAP). Home time is off most weekends for a 34-hour reset; location is Kansas City, MO. Must be able to tarp loads (approximately 90 pounds) during orientation and regularly. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
