Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver on regional routes with System Transport. Driver will haul flatbed loads such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) with matching, PTO, transition/orientation pay, and various per-load pay components (tarps, detention, safety bonuses, etc.). Competitive weekly and annual pay with a transition package and home time mostly on weekends. Requirements include 21+, valid Class A CDL, 4+ months driving experience, clean driving record, background check, and drug test; ability to tarp loads (90 lbs) as part of tarp-related duties. Home time varies by division; this listing is for Division 290 with terminals in Kansas City, MO and Westchester, IL. Training/onsite orientation pay is provided; riders and pets policies apply. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check is required
- A Clean Drug Test is required
- A Clean Clearinghouse result is required
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (testing during orientation)
- Flatbed experience preferred but not required
