Job Summary
Flatbed CDL-A driver for regional routes based in the western region (Kansas City, MO terminal noted; Division 290) with System Transport. Responsibilities include operating flatbed equipment to haul glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes, tarping loads, maintaining safety standards, and adhering to pay/benefit packages. Eligible drivers can expect weekly pay, annual compensation in the mid-to-high six figures depending on experience, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, transition/orientation pay, and more). Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; multiple pay components include mileage-based pay and various accessorial pays. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check required
- Clean Drug Test required
- Clean Clearinghouse result required
- Must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tarps on ~70% of loads; tested during orientation)
