Job Summary
Transport important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes within Division 272. Secure loads using tarps, lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice as required for approximately 70% of loads. Operate flatbed trucks equipped with lane departure forward-collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to company safety protocols while driving the newest fleet. Home for the weekend with varying home time by division. Full-time drivers earn $1,054.82 - $1,949.36 per week depending on experience, routes, and attendance. Recent CDL-A graduates may receive training through June 30, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check
- A Clean Drug Test
- A Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year truck driving experience
