Job Summary
Transport important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes for System Transport. Secure loads using a 90-pound tarp on a 5-foot high platform twice per load, as flatbed drivers tarp approximately 70% of our loads. Drive the newest flatbed trucks equipped with lane departure forward-collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. Maintain a safe driving record with no more than six jobs in the last three years. Home time varies by division, with this opportunity for Division 272 offering home for the weekend. Recent CDL-A graduates may receive training through June 30, 2026, while experienced drivers earn weekly pay ranging from $1,054.82 to $1,949.36 depending on experience and routes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience (for Recent CDL Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check
- A Clean Drug Test
- A Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
