Job Summary
Transport important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes within Division 272. Secure loads using a 90-pound tarp on a 5-foot high platform twice for approximately 70% of all flatbed shipments. Operate flatbed trucks equipped with lane departure warning, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. Maintain a safe driving record with no more than six jobs in the last three years. Home time varies by division but includes weekends for Division 272. Recent CDL-A graduates may apply through June 30, 2026, for training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- Safe driving record
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- Background Check
- Clean Drug Test
- Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
