Job Summary
Transport important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes in the western region of America. Safely secure loads, as flatbed drivers tarp approximately 70% of our loads, including lifting a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. Drive the newest flatbed trucks equipped with lane departure forward-collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. Receive real-time updates and alerts via the driver portal app, which provides access to pay, trip data, and notifications. Home for the weekend with home time varying by division for Division 272.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check
- A Clean Drug Test
- A Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year truck driving experience
