Job Summary
Transport important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes for System Transport. Secure loads using a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice, as flatbed drivers tarp approximately 70% of all loads. Operate flatbed trucks equipped with lane departure forward-collision warning systems, hard brake monitoring, and satellite communication devices. Maintain a safe driving record with no more than six jobs in the last three years and a clean drug and clearinghouse result. Drive full-time with home time for the weekend, varying by division, while earning weekly pay ranging from $1,054.82 to $1,949.36 depending on experience, routes, and attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check
- A Clean Drug Test
- A Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
