Job Summary
Transport important goods and materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals on regional routes across the western region of America. Secure loads using a tarp, which is required for approximately 70% of flatbed loads, and adhere to strict safety protocols including lane departure warnings and hard brake monitoring on modern equipment. Maintain a safe driving record and complete a background check and drug test as part of the hiring process. Full-time drivers receive weekly pay ranging from $1,054.82 to $1,949.36 with a $1,800 transition package. Home time varies by division, with this opportunity offering home for the weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- 4+ months of driving experience
- A safe driving record on the road
- No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
- A Background Check
- A Clean Drug Test
- A Clean Clearinghouse result
- Physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year truck driving experience
