Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach to provide a competitive athletic environment that empowers and inspires student athletes; supervise practice, contests, and locker room facilities; assist with transportation of athletes; supervise equipment issuance and collection; ensure compliance with IHSA rules; communicate with Head Coach, parents, media, and staff; promote school spirit and team morale; maintain paperwork and provide timely information to athletic leadership; demonstrate strong communication, reliability, adaptability, and sportsmanship; uphold safety and facility-care standards and promote academic growth for athletes.
Required Qualifications
- IHSA Coaching Certification (including applicable performance-enhancing substances, concussion, hate speech and harassment, and CPR/AED training)
