Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for patrolling premises, monitoring entrances, and maintaining order to protect staff and visitors. Responsibilities include patrolling, controlling access, removing trespassers, securing exits, monitoring surveillance cameras, investigating suspicious activity, responding to alarms, assisting people in need, and submitting daily surveillance reports. Required skills include proven security experience, knowledge of safety guidelines, report writing, surveillance systems, First Aid/BLS, and a professional appearance; must hold a valid Security License Class D and a High School diploma. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Quincy, FL.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma is required
- MUST HAVE A VALID SECURITY LICENSE CLASS D
- Proven experience as security officer or guard
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Registered as a security officer
