Job Summary
Operate fixed-wing aircraft safely and effectively in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and Intermountain policies. Execute preflight planning, maintain in-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, and ensure aircraft cleanliness and functionality. Coordinate decision-making with team members, patient/family members, and communication specialists. Assist medical crewmembers with patient transport, equipment handling, and replenishing supplies. Lead satellite base functions, evaluate pilot performance, and mentor Second-in-Command Pilots under the Company Pilot Development Program. Monitor safety issues, facilitate resolution of safety-related problems, and participate in Safety Committee reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial certificate with appropriate category and class ratings and instrument airplane
- Eligible to complete an ATP CTP course within one year of employment
- 2500 Hours in Airplanes
- ATP rating for Multi-Engine Land Airplanes
- 3000 Hours in Airplanes
- 1000 hours Multi-Engine
- 200 flight hours at hours in airplanes at night
- 300 flight hours instrument of which 100 in actual instrument
- 500 Pilot in Command flight hours in a multi-engine airplane
- 500 Pilot in Command flight hours in a turbine airplane
- Completed an ATP CTP course prior to aircraft training
- 2000 Hours in Airplanes
- Continuously employed for 2 years as a pilot at Intermountain Health
- Must hold a Commercial certificate with appropriate category and class ratings and instrument airplane
- Eligible to complete an ATP CTP course within one year of employment
- 2000 Hours in Airplanes
- Continuously employed for 2 years as a pilot at Intermountain Health
- 200 flight hours at hours in airplanes at night
- 300 flight hours instrument of which 100 in actual instrument

Desired Qualifications
