Job Summary
Conduct medical air transportation services using a King Air 200 to safely transport patients to and from facilities. Ensure aircraft readiness for dispatch by managing load manifests, maintaining regulatory documentation, and performing pre-flight checks including deicing and hangar maneuvering. Collaborate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, and medical experts while maintaining accurate records and adhering to strict safety protocols. Work a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule with service trips at night or during service days. Maintain required certifications, including an ATP within five years, and complete ongoing ground and air training.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial Airplane Multi Engine Land (C-AMEL)
- Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment
- Single pilot IFR experience
- Ability to provide logbooks listing all flight dates and corresponding hours, along with a cumulative total that substantiates the time reported on the resume
- Valid and unexpired driver's license
- Current FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate
- 2,500 Total Flight hours
- 1,000 PIC hours
- 500 Cross Country hours
- 500 Multi-Engine hours
- 100 Night hours
- 75 Instrument (50 actual) hours
- Required to work in outside weather conditions
- May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, prep the plane for flight
Desired Qualifications
- Previous medevac and/or cargo experience
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or higher
