Job Summary
As a Fixed Route Driver, you will operate a 35-foot bus, ensuring the safe and courteous transport of passengers, including individuals with disabilities. You are responsible for performing vehicle pre-trip inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and following all traffic laws and safety requirements. A strong emphasis on customer service and communication skills is necessary, alongside the ability to work varied split shift schedules. A valid CDL with a Passenger Endorsement, a clean driving record, and experience in the field are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Verifiable CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a Passenger Endorsement
- 3 years driving experience required (verifiable through DMV)
- Customer Service Experience is required
- High degree of comfort working with people with disabilities
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and decision-making skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have a clean verifiable driver record (no more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years)
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and DOT physical
Additional Requirements
