Job Summary
Develop, document, model, and price structured products for origination and distribution in fixed income (FX, Rates, Credit, Commodity, Hybrid); understand drivers of local markets, risks and regulatory requirements; prepare materials and negotiate documents; assist post-trade processes; engage with internal stakeholders and clients to articulate ideas and manage risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or related disciplines
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working within an investment bank structuring or relevant desks
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, familiarity with derivative pricing and common structures
- Proficiency with market and product lingo; well-versed in the quantitative nature and framework of own product (e.g., documentation, pricing, models)
- Understanding of different types of risk and ability to discuss ways of managing these risks
- Thorough understanding of market drivers and ability to explain and anticipate market movements
- Execution-oriented with an understanding of the transaction cycle and process steps
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to defend ideas and target messages to different audiences
- Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
