Job Summary
Fixed Income Product Controller role focused on financial and managerial reporting for fixed income trading desks, including daily P&L production and analysis (Volcker, Clean P&L), interaction with Front Office, Operations, Technology, Middle Office and Market Risk, month-end closing and balance sheet substantiation, IPV review, assessing new trades for valuation and disclosure, and preparation of external reports. Requires accounting/finance degree and 8+ years in product control; strong analytical, collaboration, and Excel skills; hybrid work arrangement at the New York location.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting or Finance degree required
- 8+ years of product control experience
- CPA or CFA preferred but not required
- Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
- Highly proficient in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to articulate ideas
