Job Summary
Portfolio Analyst role in Fidelity's Fixed Income division. Reports to the Head of Portfolio Analysis and collaborates with portfolio managers, traders, research analysts, and investment operations. Responsibilities include ensuring portfolios align with benchmarks and risk targets (cash, duration, currency), creating trade orders and ensuring trades/portfolios stay in compliance, developing end-user tools and automation, supporting investment-process enhancements, and contributing to all aspects of the investment process. Requires 3-5 years of fixed income experience, proficiency in SQL, Dash, and Python, strong communication and presentation abilities, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to investment analysis and portfolio management.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of investment experience in fixed income
- knowledge of fixed income markets and securities
- experience performing investment analysis and understanding portfolio construction
- firm grasp of SQL, Dash, and Python
- excellent communication and presentation skills
