Fixed Assets Specialist

Job Summary
Manage fixed asset close activities and reporting while maintaining accurate records for additions, transfers, disposals, and write-offs. Process depreciation, amortization, and journal entries, then reconcile the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger. Monitor assets under construction and support audits, tax reporting, and physical asset verifications across Europe, North America, ANZ, and LATAM. Contribute to process automation, SAP enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. This role supports global fixed asset accounting, compliance, and reporting at H.B. Fuller's strategically important manufacturing site.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in the area
- Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, depreciation methodologies, SOX, and financial controls
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Professional English communication skills
- Authorization to work in the hiring location

- Experience in a multinational company or shared service environment
- Knowledge of CAPEX management and capital project accounting
- Experience delivering finance systems or process improvement initiatives
- Participation in ERP implementations, shared services, or process harmonization projects
