Job Summary
Hybrid-remote opportunity in Northern Virginia for a Fixed Assets & Inventory Accounting Supervisor. Lead fixed asset subledger activities, review capital expenditure requests for proper capitalization, oversee depreciation, CIP, and asset transfers, conduct annual asset audits, and supervise inventory accounting reconciliations and reserve analyses. Develop internal controls and procedures, prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and fixed assets roll-forwards, and support ad hoc reporting and analysis. Requires strong GAAP knowledge, Excel proficiency, and effective communication; CPA is a plus. Base salary $90k-$105k with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits. On-site presence in Herndon, VA two days per month in a hybrid arrangement; Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance required; Master’s preferred, 6-8 years of technical accounting experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6-8 years of experience in technical accounting
- Hands-on experience with reconciling inventory at a large technology sector company
- CPA is a plus
